Personal items include, but are not limited to:
- Purses
- Briefcases
- Cameras
- food containers
- laptops (case included)
- day planner
- compact disk player or similar sized personal entertainment item
- personal aid devices such as wheelchairs
- Infant articles such as a small collapsible stroller, a diaper bag or a government approved child seat
It should be noted that the personal allowance is made for the convenience of passengers, but its is not to be regarded as a second carry-on item. The rules regarding personal items may not be as defined as the rules about carry-on limits, it is however generally understood that a second carry-on bag will be seen as exceeding the carry-on limits and not be considered a personal item.
