General Baggage Information
Aer Lingus has different baggage policies depending on the area of travel and the ticket class.
This economy baggage policy covers standard Low fare tickets.
NOTE: Aer Lingus charges passengers a flat fee per checked bag. Any excess weight charges are applied only on checked bags that are over 20kg / 44lbs in weight, up to 32kg / 70lbs maximum weight per bag.
NOTE: Online discounts exist for passengers that pre-pay for checked baggage. Passengers can book checked baggage online up to 2 hours prior to departure.
NOTE: Baggage fees on flights arriving / departing Belfast and London Airports are different to baggage fees on flights arriving / departing airport within Ireland. See below for price details.

Fee per bag on flights between Belfast & mainland Europe = €12.00 EUR / £10.00 GBP ONLINE FEE, €18.00 EUR / £15.00 GBP AIRPORT CHECK-IN FEE.
Fee per bag on flights between Belfast & Lanzarote or Tenerife = €15.00 EUR / £12.00 GBP ONLINE FEE, €18.00 EUR / £15.00 GBP AIRPORT CHECK-IN FEE.
Fee per bag on flights between London Gatwick & Faro, Malaga, Munich, Nice, Vienna, Zurich = €12.00 EUR / £10.00 GBP ONLINE FEE, €18.00 EUR / £15.00 GBP AIRPORT CHECK-IN FEE.
Luggage in excess of the 20kg / 44lbs standard bag allowance will be charged €9.00 EUR / £6.00 GBP ONLINE FEE, €12.00 EUR / £9.00 GBP AIRPORT CHECK-IN FEE, per KG of excess weight.
Passengers should be aware that ALL baggage charges are applied each way.
