General Baggage Information
Air Canada has different baggage policies depending on the area of travel and the ticket class.
This economy baggage policy covers Tango, Tango Plus and Latitude fares, Aeroplan economy and Air Miles redemption tickets, and Air Canada Vacations tickets.
NOTE: Air Canada will be applying a second checked bag fee of $50.00 CAD / USD on Flights to Europe and Israel on tickets issued on or after December 2, 2009 for travel on or after January 19, 2010.

NOTE: Customers checking in an additional bag are not required to pay applicable overweight and oversized charges on that additional bag.
NOTE: If a bag is both overweight and oversized, the excess charge is applied only once.
Checked Bag Cost Each Way
The number of FREE checked bags on this flight & ticket class = 1 ON FLIGHTS TO/FROM EUROPE AND ISRAEL ONLY, 2 free bags for all other flights. (within the standard size and weight limit).
Second checked bags = $50.00 CAD / USD, ON FLIGHTS TO/FROM EUROPE & ISRAEL ONLY.
Each additional checked bag = $225.00 CAD / USD per bag.
Passengers should be aware that ALL baggage charges are applied each way.
